Description
This spectacular bronze sculpture was created by renowned French Art Nouveau artist Auguste Moreau (1834-1917, French). The sculpture depicts a seated cupid, stringing his bow in preparation for his matchmaking. He dangles his legs over a ledge with his quiver of arrows tucked behind him. The bronze is signed "Aug Moreau" and sits on a green marble base. The piece measures 8-3/4 inches tall and 5-3/4 inches wide. It is in excellent condition. Please see all photos.
